These Terms & Conditions apply to guitar lessons provided by CD Guitar School. By booking lessons, the parent/guardian or adult student agrees to these terms.
Lessons and Payment
Guitar lessons are provided on a one-to-one basis in the pupil’s home. The standard lesson is 45 minutes at £25 or £30, unless otherwise agreed. Lesson arrangements and payment details will be agreed when lessons are booked. Payment is normally made by bank transfer.
A regular lesson time is reserved for the pupil and is subject to availability.
Behaviour and Safety
CD Guitar School aims to provide a friendly, respectful and supportive learning environment.
Pupils are expected to treat the teacher, other people, instruments and property with respect.
CD Guitar School may end a lesson or discontinue lessons where behaviour is seriously disruptive, abusive or creates a safety concern.
Parents/guardians should provide any information that is reasonably relevant to the pupil’s ability to participate safely in lessons.
Pupils Under 18
For pupils under 18, the agreement is made with the parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for booking, payment and communication regarding lessons.
CD Guitar School maintains appropriate safeguarding arrangements when working with children and young people.
Teaching Materials
Tabs, exercises, worksheets and other original teaching materials provided by CD Guitar School are for the pupil’s personal educational use and should not be reproduced, sold or commercially distributed without permission.
Ending Lessons
Either the parent/guardian, adult student or CD Guitar School may end ongoing lessons. Reasonable notice should be provided where possible.
Any prepaid lessons that have not taken place will be dealt with appropriately according to the circumstances.
Changes to These Terms
CD Guitar School may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Significant changes affecting existing students will be communicated where appropriate.
